I used to be just like you. I was in the corporate world. I had the education and had even been through the management training program. The company sent me to numerous other training classes, and I still saw myself as underachieving.

I was not getting the promotions I thought I deserved. I was frustrated, I felt underpaid and undervalued. I began second-guessing myself and asking if I was really cut out to be a leader. I just felt empty, like I could not do it anymore. Something had to change.

That’s when I made the decision to do something different to change my focus and begin to examine what made me happy, what inspired me, and what made the people around me feel motivated too.

I spent less time focusing on technology, strategy, and fiduciary issues and more time considering the importance of building a team of experts and creating an environment where they felt celebrated and not tolerated. It was now plain I needed to create a new culture, a Culture of Champions.

I want what wasn't there for me, for you. create an atmosphere of like-minded people eager to share their secrets for building a winning environment. A place where a shift of emphasis focusing on positive results was the norm. A space where I could understand that modifying my connections was necessary to retain high levels of positive energy and restrict poisonous interactions. A place where I could develop the mindset that continually sought out and accentuated the positive aspects of my life.
